Sondhar Charitable Trust provides free education, boarding, and family-like care to underprivileged children from nearby and distant villages of Uttarakhand.
Here, children are not just taught. They are loved, guided, listened to, and raised with dignity.
Currently nurturing 46 children through education, boarding, and holistic care.
We support children across age groups through nearby schools, on-campus learning, mentoring, and tailored academic support.
Every child receives personal attention, emotional support, daily care, and the sense of belonging every child deserves.
Alongside education, we are working to revive agriculture in Sondhar and build a future for heritage, tourism, and reverse migration.
Every number here represents a child, a family, a field, or a village that still has hope.

Many children grow up facing distance, uncertainty, and loss of opportunity. Some have lost one or both parents. Some come from homes where care exists, but resources do not.
Sondhar Charitable Trust was built to become a second home for such children — a place where education is practical, personal, and rooted in love.
Our approach combines formal schooling, personal mentoring, emotional care, and a stable home — because children learn best when they feel safe and known.
Each child is known closely — their strengths, fears, habits, learning gaps, and dreams.
Most children attend nearby schools, while the Trust provides daily study support, tutoring, and life guidance.
We focus on affection, stability, listening, and care — the things that allow a child to truly learn.
Children grow through routines, responsibility, nature, local culture, farming, play, and community life.
