Every skill has a place at Sondhar. We welcome short-term and long-term contributions across a range of areas.
Teaching and Tutoring
Support children with English, Hindi, mathematics, science, reading, writing, homework, and exam preparation.
Mentorship
Spend time with children through conversations, confidence-building, career exposure, life skills, and emotional support.
Creative Learning
Help with art, music, theatre, storytelling, sports, photography, reading circles, and activity-based learning.
Digital Storytelling
Support photography, video, blog writing, social media, newsletters, documentation, and donor updates.
Agriculture Revival
Help with farming, field documentation, sustainable agriculture, local produce, and village revival activities.
Operations and Fundraising
Support donor communication, events, reporting, research, administration, and partnerships.
Who We Are Looking For
- People who are patient with children
- People who respect rural communities
- People willing to listen before suggesting
- Teachers, students, professionals, artists, storytellers, farmers, designers, doctors, and mentors
- Long-term volunteers preferred, but short-term contributions are welcome when useful
